Collar dampers

Opposed blade dampers are used to regulate air flow through all Vent-Axia grilles and diffusers. Key operated.

This action ensures that the downstream airflow is non-directional when the damper is in the partially closed position. Opposed blade dampers have aluminium blades and the frame is left in natural mill finish.

Can be used in conjunction with Eggcrate, Single deflection and Double deflection grilles.

Square Diffuser

CHARACTERISTICS:

Multidirection diffuser with 1, 2, 3 and 4 ways and removable central core.

Anodized aluminium.

Round Diffuser

CHARACTERISTICS:

Circular diffusers with fixed cones and removabel core and butterfly damper.

Jet Nozzles

Jet nozzles are used for preference where the supply air from the unit has to travel a large distance to the occupied zone. This is the case in large rooms (halls, assembly rooms, etc.), particularly when the distribution of air via conventional ceiling diffusers is not possible or not practical. Here jet nozzles are arranged in the side wall areas. When the temperature difference between the supply air and the room air changes, the supply air stream is deflected upwards (warm air) or downwards (cold air). The direction of the supply air flow is also affected by other influences such as local convection effects or draughts within the space.

Description:

• Frame and inner rings are high quality aluminium construction with the advantages of corrosion resistance.
• Jet nozzle section is mounted in aluminium square plate covered by flanged border.
• Nozzles can be adjusted 300 up words and down words to achieve required throw as per site condition. Nozzle jet can be rotated by 3600 by adjusting the mounting frame.
• Generally designed for wall mounting. For ceiling mounting, drill 2 to 4 holes in the face of the flanged border.
• Air master jet diffusers are specially suitable to handle large quantity of air with long throw Ideal for commercial use such as concert halls, theatres, exhibition and sport halls.

GI Duct Damper / Volume Control Damper

Fresh Air Louver

Fresh Air Louver or Weather Protection Louver is a weather proof external cover for air inlet and discharge openings, suitable for most external walling and screening applications.

It is composed of set of blades made of heavy guage Aluminium Extrusions arranged in horizontal rows and inclined downward to protect against rain water.

Fresh Air Louver/Exhaust Air Louver is also used in cooling, heating and air ventilation applications.

Drum Jet Diffuser

Most useful in supply situations, drum jet diffusers offer a level of adjustability unsurpassed by any other diffuser. For vertical throw adjustment the drum, housed within its exterior frame can be rotated. For horizontal adjustment, individually movable blades within the drum can be adjusted.

This level of adjustability gives drum jets the unique ability to create a wide ranging, low powered blow pattern, or a targeted powerful throw. Perfect for warehouses, factories, or other open plan areas requiring a diffuser with a throw strong enough to reach many metres away.

Offering two ranges of drum jet gives you unmatched levels of choice when it comes to choosing your diffuser. If you require a standard sized unit in satin anodised or RAL9010, then our range of stock drum jets is perfect for you. If however you want a custom built unit in a specific colour then the premium range is your best option.

Swirl Diffusers

An extremely effective supply diffuser, swirl diffusers create a swirling throw which pulls in surrounding air quickly. This helps to eliminate cold spots which can cause discomfort to room occupants. The turbulent throw also slows the supplied air down rapidly, helping to avoid draughts.

With a 595mm square overall size, all HVC Swirl Diffusers are designed for use in a 600mm square ceiling system.

Architectural Plaque Diffusers

The ASDP/ASDT architectural diffuser provides an aesthetically pleasing appearance which is clean, simple and unobtrusive. The ASDP diffuser provides a metal plaque face while the ASDT provides a frame that accepts a ceiling tile (by others) to form the plaque face. The diffusers discharge air horizontal to the ceiling causing secondary air circulation and mixing. The ASDP matching VAV diffuser is the AVDP.

Fire dampers

A device designed to impede the spread of fire through walls, floors and partitions. Its construction includes a galvanized steel frame and a fusible link, a heat sensitive device (usually set at 165 F). When the fusible link opens it releases the damper components to close. When the damper components close the damper will restrict the migration of fire. Fire damper products are listed with hourly ratings, see "Fire Rating" below.
